محافظ أسوان يعلن إقامة المدينة الخضراء غرب كوم أمبو بعد استصلاح 220 ألف فدان

أعلن محافظ أسوان مصطفى يسري عن البدء فى تنفيذ مشروع المدينة الخضراء من خلال استصلاح 220 ألف فدان بوادى غرب كوم أمبو بما يوفر حوالى 450 ألف فرصة عمل للشباب الأسوانى فى مختلف التخصصات.

جاء ذلك خلال لقاء محافظ أسوان مصطفى يسرى مع وفد المجموعة المصرية الإماراتية برئاسة الدكتور محمود مسعود رئيس مجلس الإدارة والعضو المنتدب للمجموعة، بجانب أحمد دياب ممثل وزارة الإنتاج الحربى وبحضور مديرى الرى والزراعة والتنمية الحضرية والاستثمار.

وقد رحب محافظ أسوان بمشروع المدينة الخضراء واعداً بتقديم كافة التسهيلات لدخول المشروع حيز التنفيذ فى وقت قياسى تنفيذاً لمذكرة التفاهم التى وقعت مع بين الشركة والحكومة المصرية أثناء انعقاد مؤتمر دعم وتنمية الاقتصاد المصرى بشرم الشيخ، بخاصة أن المشروع سيعتبر نقلة تنموية بإقامة مجتمع عمرانى جديد متكامل بعيداً عن الوادى الضيق بما يسهم فى زيادة الرقعة الزراعية وإنتاج المحاصيل الاستراتيجية لتحقق الأمن الغذائى وتضييق الفجوة بين الإنتاج والاستهلاك ومنها القمح والذرة والطماطم والتمور والخضراوات والفاكهة.

ولفت إلى أن المشروع الجديد سيشمل الاستصلاح والتصنيع الزراعى والإنتاج الحيوانى، واستغلال الطاقة النظيفة المنتجة من مزارع الطاقة الشمسية، بالإضافة إلى إنشاء 55 قرية تضم مساكن ريفية ملائمة ومدعمة بالعديد من الخدمات التعليمية والصحية والاجتماعية، ووجه مصطفى يسرى مسئولى الرى والزراعة والتنمية الحضرية بسرعة تقديم كافة الدراسات الخاصة بالمياه الجوفية وطبيعة التربة مع أهمية مراعاة إنشاء شبكات للصرف الزراعى خاصة بالمشروع لحماية قرى غرب النيل من أى أحتمالات لارتفاع مستوى المياه الجوفية على الرغم من أن المشروع يعتمد على نظام الرى بالتنقيط وليس الرى بالغمر.

من جانبه أكد الدكتور محمود مسعود رئيس الشركة على دعم الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسى لمشروع وادى غرب كوم أمبو خلال المؤتمر الاقتصادى، وأيضاً هناك تعاون وجدية من وزارات الزراعة والرى والإنتاج الحربى ومحافظة أسوان للإسراع بتنفيذه، بخاصة أن التنفيذ سيتم على مراحل بواقع 50 ألف فدان لكل مرحلة وتتراوح مدة التنفيذ للمشروع بالكامل ما بين 15 إلى 18 عامًا، مشيراً إلى أن المجموعة المصرية الإماراتية هي مؤسسة استثمارية عابرة للقارات تضم 8 شركات بدأت استثماراتها داخل مصر فى العام الماضى فقط ولديها رغبة قوية للمساهمة فى البناء والتنمية والاستثمار ليكون هذا المشروع هو باكورة استثمارات الشركة والذى سيحقق مردود تنموى غير محدود لأبناء وشباب أسوان سواء فى التشغيل أو فى مجال المنتجات الزراعية والحيوانية، علاوة على إنتاج الطاقة المتجددة.

وأضاف محمود مسعود، أن وفد الشركة قام بمعاينة موقع المشروع الذى يتميز بصلاحية التربة والمناخ الملائم لإنتاج العديد من المحاصيل الزراعية، مع توفر المياه الجوفية والتى سنعتمد فيها على الدراسات المسبقة للعالم المصرى فاروق الباز، بجانب أستخدام أحدث أجهزة الاستشعار التكنولوجية من أجل حفر 1800 بئر جوفى يصل معدل إنتاج الواحد منها إلى 250 م3 /ساعة من المياه.

وأكد أن الشركة جاهزة للبدء الفورى فى تقديم الاستشارات أو الدعم لأى مشروع تقدمه المحافظة بخاصة بالمنطقة الصناعية الفوسفاتية الجديدة بشرق السباعية من أجل استثمار الثروات التعدينية أو المحجرية التى تتفرد بها أسوان والتى نعتبرها أرض الخير والنماء والمصدر الأساسى للطاقة.

This came during a meeting with the Governor of Aswan, Mustafa Yousry, with a delegation from the Egyptian-Emirati group headed by Dr. Mahmoud Masoud, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of the group, along with Ahmed Diab, representative of the Ministry of Military Production, and in the presence of the directors of irrigation, agriculture, urban development and investment.

The Governor of Aswan welcomed the Green City Project, promising to provide all facilities for the project to enter into implementation in record time, in implementation of the memorandum of understanding signed between the company and the Egyptian government during the conference to support and develop the Egyptian economy in Sharm El-Sheikh, especially since the project will be considered a development leap by establishing a new integrated urban community far away. About the narrow valley, which contributes to increasing the agricultural area and the production of strategic crops to achieve food security and narrow the gap between production and consumption, including wheat, corn, tomatoes, dates, vegetables, and fruits.

He pointed out that the new project will include reclamation, agricultural industrialization, animal production, and the exploitation of clean energy produced from solar farms, in addition to the establishment of 55 villages that include suitable rural housing supported by many educational, health and social services. Mustafa Yousry directed officials of irrigation, agriculture and urban development to quickly submit all studies. Concerning groundwater and the nature of the soil, with the importance of taking into account the establishment of agricultural drainage networks specific to the project to protect the villages of West Nile from any possibility of a rise in the level of groundwater, even though the project relies on a drip irrigation system and not flood irrigation.

For his part, Dr. Mahmoud Masoud, head of the company, stressed President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s support for the West Kom Ombo Valley project during the economic conference, and there is also cooperation and seriousness from the Ministries of Agriculture, Irrigation, Military Production and Aswan Governorate to speed up its implementation, especially since the implementation will take place in stages at 50 thousand acres for each stage. The implementation period for the entire project ranges between 15 to 18 years, indicating that the Egyptian-Emirati Group is a transcontinental investment institution that includes 8 companies that began their investments in Egypt only last year and has a strong desire to contribute to construction, development and investment, so that this project is the company’s first investments, which It will achieve unlimited development returns for the people and youth of Aswan, whether in employment or in the field of agricultural and animal products, in addition to the production of renewable energy.

Mahmoud Masoud added that the company delegation inspected the project site, which is characterized by suitable soil and climate suitable for the production of many agricultural crops, with the availability of groundwater, in which we will rely on prior studies by the Egyptian scientist Farouk El-Baz, in addition to using the latest technological sensors in order to drill 1,800 underground wells. The production rate of each one reaches 250 m3/hour of water.

He stressed that the company is ready to immediately begin providing consultations or support for any project offered by the governorate, especially in the new phosphate industrial zone in East El-Sebaea, in order to invest in the mining or quarry wealth that is unique to Aswan, which we consider to be a land of goodness, development, and the primary source of energy.
